This Sunday, 23 July, there is a service of Morning Worship at 9.30am at St Bartholomew, Burstow, a service of Holy Communion at 10am at St Mary the Virgin, Horne and a service of Holy Communion at 11am at St John the Baptist, Outwood. O praise ye the Lord! Praise him in the height;

The Collect for the seventh Sunday after Trinity

Let us pray:

Lord of all power and might,
the author and giver of all good things:
graft in our hearts the love of your name,
increase in us true religion,
nourish us with all goodness,
and of your great mercy keep us in the same;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

The Prayers

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come;
thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

Blessing

To God be the glory! Great things He hath done;
So loved He the world that he gave us His Son;
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life-gate that all may go in.
