Online Worship for 4 September | Windmill United Benefice

This week, 4 September, there is a service of Holy Communion at 9.30am at St Bartholomew, Burstow, a Family Service at 10am at St Mary the Virgin, Horne and a service of Holy Communion at 11am at St John the Baptist, Outwood. And as always, there is an online service here, too, which this week is led by the Revd Nicholas Calver

The Collect for Feast of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Almighty and everlasting God,
who stooped to raise fallen humanity
through the child-bearing of blessed Mary:
grant that we, who have seen your glory
revealed in our human nature
and your love made perfect in our weakness,
may daily be renewed in your image
and conformed to the pattern of your Son
Jesus Christ our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

The Prayers

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come; thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

but deliver us from evil.
