This week, 2 October, there is a service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer at 8am at St Mary the Virgin, Horne, a service of Holy Communion at 9.30am at St Bartholomew, Burstow, a Family Service at 10am at St Mary the Virgin, Horne and a service of Morning Worship at 11am at St John the Baptist, Outwood. And as always, there is an online service here, too, which this week is led by the Revd Charles Sargent

O Lord, we beseech you
mercifully to hear the prayers of your people who call upon you;
and grant that they may both perceive and know
what things they ought to do,
and also may have grace and power faithfully to fulfil them;

The Prayers

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come; thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

O Jesus, I have promised
To serve thee to the end;
