The Bishop of Southwark’s Lent Call 2017

” I was hungry… I was thirsty”

There will be a Windmill United Benefice Lent Lunch in aid of the Bishop of Southwark’s Lent Appeal in Smallfield Church Hall on Saturday 18 March. Come and go at any time between 12 noon and 2pm for home-made soup and bread, with a minimum donation of £5 to the Appeal

This year, the Bishop’s Lent Call is supporting projects in Southwark Diocese and in Zimbabwe. The projects in the Diocese of Southwark are: the Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation; Faith in Action Merton Homelessness Project; and Deptford Reach. In Zimbabwe, the projects supported this year all support food security and water shortages.
