May Café Church

Messy Church, like other church services and activites, was suspended during the Coronavirus pandemic. This gave us time to take stock and consider where we were, what we wanted and where we wanted to head in the future. To this end, Messy Church has morphed into Café Church and launched on Good Friday 2022.

What is Café Church?

Café Church is for all ages – at one Café Church participants range from 2 to 93 years old! There is tea/squash and cake, a chance to chat with old friends and new, activities on the theme of the day that anyone can join in with, a couple of songs and a short talk.

When is Café Church?

Café Church takes place on the second Sunday of the month at 3pm for an hour or so in Smallfield Church Hall, opposite the Co op on Redehall Road. There is not a Café Church in August, and the second Sunday in December is the Smallfield Carol Service instead. So the next dates are:

  • 11 February 2024
